Jeff Kready just closed Les Mis on Broadway on Sunday January 6th and is rehearsing for opening Sunday in the Park with George on Broadway. Here’s a link to a story on Playbill.com.

Quinton Loder and Carl Peckham are both still living in New York City. Carl still does some performing in solo and duet shows he puts together and Quinton is doing improv comedy.

There is an awesome video of Jeff singing an incredible song called “Sarah” on youtube. You can access it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3rSEo1HrjQ. He rocks!
(you may have to copy and paste, but it’s worth it!)

Darren Canady was in the Topeka Capital-Journal today. Highland Park High School is performing his Kendeda Graduate Playwriting Competition award winning play “False Creeds”. It is the first time the show has been done at a high school, most recently performed at Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre. Congratulations to Darren on his success, and isn’t it terrific his play is being done here in Topeka? If you want to catch the show, here is the link to the article with more information.

I had the opportunity to see Darren’s show on Saturday night and it was amazing. Hopefully other TCTAers made it over to HPHS last weekend to see the show!

HEY! Chelle left a comment about little ol’ me. Aww… Thought I’d let you know that the improv group I’m in, The Boss, is doing quite well. Getting set to produce our own shows and host up and coming NYC improvisation talent!
Jeff Kready is currently in previews with Sunday In the Park With George. He’s working a lot, but at the same time, not really working much at all. Wrap your head around THAT!
Mike Ellis bought a new home in Dallas Texas! YEE-HAW!!! He and his fantastic wife are doing quite well since leaving NYC about a year ago. Not much theatre happening…
But they are happy!
I wish I knew more about Carl Peckham, but I don’t get to Staten Island very often. Guess I’ve got a little NY snob in me after all.
This whole deal is making me very nostalgic and I hope to see my second home again sometime soon!

Oh, I thought Quinton was in an “improve” group, not “improv” group. LOL
Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Thanks for the update, Q!

Hey all –
Sunday in the Park opened last night in NY. There are a couple of pictures of Jeff if you go to broadwayworld.com, and then look under the photo album for their opening and after party.

Just to update… I won’t be going to Vegas with Jersey Boys. They are there and doing amazingly well, so if you are in Vegas, go see them at the Palazzo Hotel & Casino!!
I will be the Company Manager at West Virginia Public Theatre in Morgantown, WV this summer. If you are in the mood for a road trip, I would love to have you! You can see our season at http://www.wvpublictheatre.org

Great news! Don Denton was just nominated for a Joseph Jefferson award for his leading role in bare at the Bailiwich Theatre in Chicago. The Joseph Jefferson awards are the major theatre awards for professional theatre in Chicago. The awards ceremony is June 9, 2008. Good luck, Don!
