I just stopped by the board room to take a peek at our new area rug which was donated by Ford & Catherine Ross. It is awesome! It even has our logo in it - very cool! We are so lucky to have such a great family of supporters. Kudos to Ford & Catherine!!

I would like to give “Kudos” to the cast and crew of The Jellybean Conspiracy Show. We just finished our two weekend run with sold out performances almost every night. If you didn’t catch this show, you missed out on an incredible piece of theatre!

I would like to thank Shannon, Eddie, and the cast of Cabaret for allowing the club staff to come see the show tonight. It’s a great way for many people to see the show and still be able to work in the club for the remainder of the run. It’s a nice little perk that I know I enjoy as a member of the club staff and I recognize that it is not something that HAS to be done. Thanks to Shannon and Eddie for letting us do this.

Kudos to our media sponsor WIBW for their coverage of Cabaret. They have always been huge supporters of non-profits in our community, and it’s great to have them on board helping out TCTA. We appreciate their support for this fantastic show. Here is a link to one of the stories they’ve done about Cabaret recently.

Congratulations to Jay Bachman, our web designer, (who I’m just SURE will read this!)
Our website was honored as Gold Star winner of the Best of Topeka Web 2008. TK Magazine was “inundated with entries” that were judged by the local chapters of The Association for Women in Communication and the International Association of Business Communications.
The judge’s comments also mention Shannon’s blog…thank you Shannon!

I wanted to tell the cast and crew (and director) of “The Women of Lockerbie”, how proud I am of them all as their stage manager. I have seen this show grow from its infancy, and now its an amazing piece of theatre.
I hope everyone comes to see it…please get the word out. People (even in other studio shows) seem to forget that we are about to open!
Much love to my cast!

Special thanks to Bill Blankenship, Dave Uhler, and Phil Thompson at CJ Online for their newest feature…video footage of shows in NE Kansas to accompany their stories. Here is an example of one they just did for The Women of Lockerbie…

I would like to give more kudos to the cast and crew of The Women of Lockerbie. Yes, I’m biased, but all involved were able to take a difficult subject and script and create a wonderful show.

I wanted to give kudos to the cast and crew of Macbeth. I saw the invited dress last night, and it was fantastic. If you haven’t gotten tickets for this show yet, I suggest you do!! There are some wonderful performances that you won’t want to miss.

Wanted to give a HUGE shout out to the cast and crew of Laughing Matters. Been to just about EVERY show since - well - since Shannon’s WIFE used to participate and they used to be located under the Kansas Street Bridge. Come A LONG LONG ways in these few years now.
And a BIG Thank You to Willie Hopper - we are going to miss you - looking forward to seeing your next performance
